The University of Kent Players are proud to announce that they will be supporting the Canterbury Stroke Recovery Service with all profits made from tickets sales and programme sales of The Ghost Train.
What is the Canterbury Stroke Recovery Service?
This service is for stroke survivors for any age, and families and carers of people affected by stroke, living in Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay.
The Service provides high quality information, practical advice and emotional support following a stroke. The team work with stroke survivors, carers or family members, after a stroke. The service provides support both at home and in the wider community.
What does the Canterbury Stroke Recovery Service?
coordinated support throughout stroke journey
leaflets,factsheets and information about life after Stroke Grants and benefits
help with returning to work
assistance with accessing local leisure and social activities
support for carers, and links to other organisations and networks
The play will be performed on the 12 -14 April at the Gulbenkian and tickets can be booked online.
